We always wanted to create one of those breathtakingly elegant Cateye-models. But so far, all of our attempts to design such an iconic shape ended crumpled up in our office’s wastepaper basket. Then, along came our charming colleague Olga, savior of the cateye-glasses. Relying on her refined design tips, we were finally able to do away with the flaws that hampered the design and came up with this beautiful frame. Thus, we dedicate it to her. Shine on, you crazy diamond!

More than twenty layers of veneer provide for extraordinary stability. EINSTOFFEN started with wood, we put our heart and soul into these frames. Our wooden frames were able to win a total of four German Design Awards in 2018 and 2019
