According to legend, the so-called raglan cut, where the sleeve extends all the way to the collar, was invented for the one-armed Lord Raglan. It allowed him more freedom of movement in battle. We're not sure about the legend, and we aren't making military gear here. But the extra freedom of movement is indeed true. Just ask a baseball player - they live in these things!
