Production
Not everything always has to be done quickly. Quality requires constant reworking and good advance planning. Resources must be used responsibly and stocks must not get out of control. For us, "slow production" means using as few resources as possible with the most precise planning possible.

Over many years, we have constantly evaluated the selection of our producers and suppliers and now have a network that can fulfil our requirements and wishes 100%.
First and foremost, we are making a durable product, something that can be worn for years. It's the easiest way to use as little resources as we can and therefore produce less. Secondly, we always try to sell our stock as close to zero as possible. This is achievable with accurate tracking and early planning.

We only partner with suppliers who have gone through our supplier assessment and have proven to complying with our high environmental and social standards.

We produce with carefully selected small companies under the highest quality standards. We visit the manufacturing facilities at least once a year. The excellent infrastructure on site enables very efficient production. A pair of glasses has over 100 production steps. Much of the work is still done by hand. A lot of time goes into your «EINSTOFFEN frame» and we hope that it will become your favorite piece.
