Today, people only murmur about the marble maker, which is known as the Märbelpicker in German. But there was actually a time, which probably seems strange to you too, when people worked with their hands. These little clicking balls were made by a so-called Märbelpicker. Even if it sounds a bit bizarre, someone had to make the marble round before the big machines came along. But like our frame, the marble is a round thing through and through, even without big machinery! Now the only question that remains is: what came first? The marble or the Märbelpicker.
