After releasing an all-male collection with last year's «Explorers» series, this year's «Elementals» collection is one for the women. The 316L stainless steel watches, limited to an exclusive 100 pieces per design, are smaller than the men's pieces at 33mm, but also sleeker and more elegant - of course. For the Elementals, we chose minimalist - or elemental - functional design, then combined it with the highest quality individual parts - elements like Miyota GN17 movements, wooden dials, sapphire crystals, and delicate metal straps. The result? A collection made up of a sophisticated blend of precision mechanics and imagination-- with a touch of Swiss understatement. You already have a cell phone to tell you the time. Your watch is there to tell the world about you.
The «Elementals» are truly functional watches with a clear mission: to measure time. Their Japanese Miyota GN17 movements ensure this. The design of these nine models is deliberately spartan and reduced to one or two elementary color components. This is precisely the key to their elegance. The reductionist style makes small details such as the wooden inserts in the crown or the naturally grained dials stand out even more.
After having exclusively relying on quartz movements in the last collection, the «explorers» introduce two new automatic models. Why use batteries if you can go without them? The Vitus Bering and the Thor Heyerdahl rely on high-precision, mechanical Miyota 821A movements with automatic winding. They feature ball-bearing rotors and a 42h power reserve. Our automatic watches are serially numbered and strictly limited to hundred pieces.
Are you ready to circumnavigate the globe?
The Quartz-watches feature solid 316L stainless steel casings with concave sapphire crystals and state-of-the-art Japanese OT45 movements from Miyota. As a small reference to our eyewear collection, they are equipped with small wooden insertions in the crowns.
