When we say «mariachi», we don't just mean Latin American street musicians. Not that those cool guys don't deserve recognition - just look at their outfits! But this pair is actually an homage to the 1992 iconic flick El Mariachi. Two film students pooled their savings, wrote a script, and made it, just like that. Somehow this scrappy story appealed to us at EINSTOFFEN. And as far as movies go, we're definitely children of the '90s. With its small, round glasses, this pair gives a fantastic nod to the decade - and so we knew all they needed was the perfect 90's name. We think we got it.
